Pink moon is the super moon of the year. This can be seen in the month of April every year.
A full moon becomes a supermoon when the moon is at the perigee of its orbit (nearest position) around the Earth.
It is about 14% larger and 30% brighter than the normal full moon which occurs after every 28 days revolution around the Earth.
